Practice Description
Roxanne works with smart, motivated but often overwhelmed students and adults with ADHD who value excellence but can’t seem to achieve it without more effort or less sleep. She helps them figure out ways to work with their strengths so they can focus on what is most important and organize their time, tasks, and lives for the success and balance they deserve.
She has graduate training in special education and holds both a professional Certificate in Educational Therapy and a Certificate in Positive Psychology. She serves as the San Diego Coordinator of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and is the chair of the Research Committee for the ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO). Roxanne has both personal and professional understanding of ADHD’s advantages and challenges, and is passionate about helping students and adults discover their potential and flourish with ADHD.
As a founding member of the San Diego-based coaching and consulting company, Focus For Effectiveness, LLC, Roxanne provides strengths-based ADHD coaching in person, over the phone or via Skype.
